Moxie Fab Challenge: Honoring Ombre One

Hi there visitors!
Here we are with another Moxie Fab Challenge. Isn't the image just gorgeous. Too good to eat!!
I made two cards, the second one in another post. Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger

I played with a few ideas. In particular Jennifer McGuire's Die Cut Inlays which I love.
I nearly got there but......not quite. Another time.

Here is the card that did eventuate. The HELLO started out white, but after living with the card for a few days I realized it needed a colour.

I used a stamp from MFT LLD Border It- Modern Borders.
The die cut 'hello' is Memory Box PARKER UPPER ALPHABET SET Craft DIE 98364
Ink Colours are Hero Arts Inks

See me in the next post.

Fusion Card Challenge #16 Cool Watermelon!!

This image from Fusion is so pretty. I can imagine partaking in this delightful beverage on a hot summers day. I loved the 'prettiness' of the colours so wanted to stay soft in the card. I thought keeping the wedge of watermelon was a bit of whimsy.
