Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #109 - Use flowers on your Christmas card.

The challenge for this week at Merry Monday is to use flowers on your Christmas card. I love the soft greens with the red in Bonnie's image.

For my card I have used the traditional poinsettia flower ( not really the flower, actually leaves, the flowers are the wee bits in the centre) The die is from Memory Box. I didn't do the extra step of embossing the veins on the leaves. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Sadly, this is my last post as a design team member for Merry Monday (also The  Card Concept Team).  I have totally enjoyed my time on the team with these lovely, super creative ladies. I highly recommend working with Lesley on any of her challenges, she is organised, encouraging, and of course very talented. At the moment my time is taken up with work etc but I look forward to linking up in the MM gallery in the down times.

Thanks for dropping in.

The Card Concept Challenge #10 -Make a card with a coffee theme

Hi everyone, I hope you can join us over the next two weeks for The Card Concept Challenge to make a coffee themed card.

I didn't have any suitable coffee themed stamps so I hand cut this takeaway cup. I used 'Old Paper' Distress Ink to colour the edges. The 'steam' curly cues were a mission to cut, they don't stand close scrutiny. I should have fired up the Silhouette. The banners are MFT and the scallop circle is Spellbinders. The DP's are MME I think, they were off-cuts. The 'coffee break?' stamp is from a very old nameless acrylic set. The wood embellishments are from Prima.

Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #108 - Use stars on your Christmas card.

This week, for the Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge, Lori has asked us to use stars on our cards. She has chosen such a gorgeous image!! Be inspired........................

On my card I have used Lil'Inker Star dies, the small stars are from a hand held punch, and the banner is an old Penny Black stamp (Merry Memories). The DP's are a scraps. Quite a subdued approach.

Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #107 - Use this sketch to create your Christmas card.

This week for the Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge we have a wonderful sketch from Katie to inspire us.

This card  went together quite quickly, although I still want to fiddle. LOL I have used Lil'Inker Star dies, with a Hero Arts Sentiment. The DP's are scraps.
