Paper Players #133 Challenge - A CAS, Buttons and Bows card for Baby

I love challenges because they often get me using a technique I have not tried before, or designing a card in a style I wouldn't otherwise do.
CAS is a place I find it almost impossible to go............I always want to add something!:-)

The extra challenge was that I have only one baby set that could be used for CAS.
It's a Brenda Walton design by Inkadinkadoo.
To go with this, I used the most versatile Tweed Pattern Background stamp (S5654) from Hero Arts for the color bars. The only other stamp I used was the striped dot (actually a 1 3/8ths circle), from the Hero Arts Many Dots stamp set (CL519). See this on the landscape oriented card.

To make the color bars for these two cards, I only inked the Tweed stamp once!!
I used Dew Drops so it was easy to ink a third of the stamp in each color.
I used Tsukineko Versa Magic inks for the color bars and Versafine for the black.

This card is for The Paper Players Challenge:-

Oh, boy! I love the use of black in these baby cards. So unexpected, but so lovely. Thanks for playing along with The Paper Players.

Karen, both of your cards are simply adorable! Love the fresh color combo and the fun design. Love the little chevron accents on the second card. Very cute! Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players! :)
