Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger - Friendly Flowers

This is my entry for Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger - Friendly Flowers.
It is quite a close interpretation of the image. I just loved it so much as it was.
As a part of my quilting business, I dye wool.
When I saw the wool on the Trigger image I just had to let the stitcher in me take over.
I freehand machine stitched the design on my Bernina.
I have blanket stitched the finished linen fabric embroidery (backed with interfacing) to a piece of card.
The Duck Egg blue button on the lower right, small flower, is from my grandmother's button box......so it's maybe about 50 years old. It came stitched to a card with 5 others.
It's lovely to use it and think of her.

I love your stitched stems and the little red flowers - everything framed with the blanket stitch - this really is a little work of art!

What a wonderful card. I love all the real actual stitching, and what a great story about your grandmother's button.
