The Card Concept Challenge #10 -Make a card with a coffee theme

Hi everyone, I hope you can join us over the next two weeks for The Card Concept Challenge to make a coffee themed card.

I didn't have any suitable coffee themed stamps so I hand cut this takeaway cup. I used 'Old Paper' Distress Ink to colour the edges. The 'steam' curly cues were a mission to cut, they don't stand close scrutiny. I should have fired up the Silhouette. The banners are MFT and the scallop circle is Spellbinders. The DP's are MME I think, they were off-cuts. The 'coffee break?' stamp is from a very old nameless acrylic set. The wood embellishments are from Prima.

Follow our Facebook page or go straight to the Challenge Blog to see the cards by the other DT members.. Link above.

Thanks for dropping by.

I'm so sorry you are leaving our group Karen...you really are such an inspiration to me. I remember way back when you were first introduced at Card Concept and I was thinking I loved your style and I have learned a lot about Freestyle Collage from watching you and your great cards.

This is as cute as a button, and I love that you hand cut the steam........what?!?! That took patience of a serious kind, but the card is really cute!
