Simon Says Stamp Vintage Challenge: Lace Love

My last Challenge card is for Simon Says Stamp Lace love. Having been a sewer for mumble..... years, you may be able to imagine (multiply that image by 10) my fabric and trim stash. The piece I have used on the card was found by my mum in an estate sale. So pretty.

To attach the lace to the card I have a technique that secures the lace without glue show through. Using an old credit card, smear a thin layer of Tombo glue on an acrylic block or something similar. (The image below shows the block smeared.) Place the lace on a firm, flat surface, 'Stamp' the back of the lace repeatedly making sure the edges are well glued but not filling the gaps. Reglue the block if necessary. Attach to the card. Wash the glue off the block as soon as you are done.

Here is the card.....

Wow what stunning lace and such a lovely way to showcase such a special vintage piece. Love the delicately stamped butterflies too. Thanks so much for joining in the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge. Tracy x
