Well, I seem to have got into 4th July patriotic mode.
The ColourQ challenge #196 has this wonderful 'God Bless You' angel image as inspiration.
As a Kiwi (New Zealand), I have always admired how openly patriotic Americans are, especially on the 4th of July.
So, just for fun, I made three cards for the challenge.
This is the first round card I have ever made. Very interesting working on a smaller scale.
The large stars on all the cards were made by stamping a Hero Arts dot background stamp, embossing with White powder, colouring with Memento ink, then punching out the star.
I loosened up a little with this card by swiping distress stain across the background.
The embossed wings are from Tim Holtz....such a glorious shape.
.
The last card is the first card I made.
I have star punches, (I discovered after all cards were made that I also have a wonderful MFT star die, Grrrrrr)..............but I do not have star stamps...........soon to be rectified!!
I hope you enjoy a Kiwi's version of Stars and Stripes.
A belated happy 4th July America. :-)
